So with the horses we have a thermometer that marks when we start blanketing, on each designated temperature we've written what layer of blanket they need. Well I'm wondering if anyone knows the recommended temperatures for when a jacket should be used.
I'm taking Harley to the bank today, for a little walk, seeing he hasn't been feeling too well I"m going to probably put his jacket on. we're around 5 degrees in the mornings now, it's getting pretty cold (sorry I don't know how to convert that) |
Mine does need a coat when the temp drops below 50F here - that would be about 10C. I actually buy 4-legged joggers to keep her warm when it gets around freezing and below and then we add a coat on top of that.

She really does look like a little roly-poly walking along, but she doesn't get cold!
