It seems as if the raw probably has more water content than dry kibble, so maybe that is making him less thirsty. I don't know much about raw (I feed kibble), so that may be off.

I do occasionally worry if Levi is playing hard and doesn't seem to be drinking enough. If I offer his water bowl to him and he doesn't seem interested, I can sometimes entice him to drink by first letting him lick water droplets off my finger. That does occasionally get him to drink more. I also crush ice cubes into smaller pieces - he loves them, and that increases his water intake. I'll also occasionally give him a bit of wet food, as it has a higher water content.
