His diarrhea's gotten worse and this morning he won't eat at all! I called my vet again and he said to wait it out... I don't know if I can! He's just sitting around, sleeping in my lap every time he gets the chance. I'm going to go buy some chicken breasts and see if he'll eat that. It seems like we've had a bunch of little problems since he came home and every time I call the vet he says the same thing, "He's a puppy, this happens so just wait it out". My husband and my roomate keep telling me I'm overreacting and he's a dog so he'll be fine. Should I just calm down? It's been so long since I've had a puppy and I've never had a small dog. Is there any chance these diarrhea episodes and his random spells of not eating are leading up to something worse? The diarrhea I can live with but it's when he won't eat that I get scared. I need a hug...
