What an awful experience. I've never had that happen -- I did have two collars break away as they're supposed to when one of my cats caught them on the handle of the reclining chair. I think the first time was accidental and the smarty did the next one on purpose. They were indoor cats and guarded like the gold in Fort Knox, (no less than three doors between them and the outdoors at all times) so I gave up on keeping collars on them after that. |
