First welcome.
Second can you not fly her on board.
I am taking my girl to B.C. in January and she is booked on board.
She will fly under the seat in her kennel/ bag.
Not a chance would I fly her under the plane unless I was in the kennel with her. She would freak out and me too.
Also around christmas they band them flying under as the cargo room is so full they could get hurt. So best check if you can get her on underneath anyway. Also if she goes no board make sure you are there even earlier as they tend to say only two animals on board a flight at a time.
All though I have seen a few more then that on board at Christmas time.
It is only $40.00 with West jet either on the plane in cabin or under in the belly.
In the winter it can get cold under in the belly of the plane if it hangs around on the runway long.
