A rabbit can indeed drink from a bowl.
there are no bottles in nature,you will have to take it out when they stop drinking because if you dont they will knock it over.
if your yard has not been treated for chemicals this year(12 full months) you can go out and pick dandy lions and clover if it has you can just go to walmart and get some greens they are not expensive
as for a shelter call around if worse comes to worse post them on craigslist for $15-$20 and when a person is ready to pay that much just tell them to go buy supplies if they will pay $20 on a baby rabbit they are not going to eat it or feed it to a snake(they can buy a large rat for $3 in most places)
