Thanks again KJC. I did what you suggested and allowed her to play with the maids while I'm around. I have set a time for her to play which is an hour before feeding time. And yeah, they do live with us. I just don't want her to feel attached to them coz once they leave... she might not recover.
She used to do lots of stretches and stuff that's so cute but now it's not as much I think she's still on "red alert", but she did allow me to rub her belly again. I didn't look at her while i was doing this and I just kept telling her she was a good girl.
She's started being picky with her food again. So maybe she's going back to normal or I'm back to square one. Hahaha. She's been eating lots lately so we've all been extremely happy. One thing though, she's not jumping on the couch when I'm there and she's not giving me more licks than before. She also doesn't run to me as she does with the maids.
She hasn't tried to bark at me or growl or bite. So I don't think I'll be needing the tennis racket. She also didn't sleep in my room last night and I think I'll let her sleep in my brother's room again tonight. So I can give her some space. I seem to remind her of that night when I'm on the bed and on the couch. It may be because I had her sleeping in my room right after the incident and didn't allow her to remain downstairs. I still do feeding, she gets all excited when I'm doing her meal, but when she sees it. She turns away and eats maybe a spoonful. She's on a special diet of rice and egg only coz of her liver problem. So she has to eat that for a month.
Thanks again for all your suggestions and I'll try them. I did think of sunglasses too. I'll try that and see if she'll freak out if I'm wearing one. I noticed she hates it when I'm carrying an umbrella. and she gets jumpy when we walk outside so when we're outside, i'm just carrying her. |
