I have found over the years that each placement is a bit different. Some Yorkies are too active for a very quiet mature home- they want a little more action/ activity-so you look for that home that has that needed element. It needs to be a good match between the baby and the new parent or parents.
The hardest placement can be a young single person- the worry is that they will fall out of love with the dog when they find the significant other and or start a family.
Our society has become a disposable society.
Things are too eay to obtain and dispose of when it suits our needs. The last time I had a little it took me 5 months to find the right home. |
You said this very well...it is by far the toughest job to choose the best possible home for our pups and even though it is discriminatory, the interest of the dog has to be first priorty. I am sure you will find her a lovely home, just the right fit for some lucky person.
