Default Bloody stool

We came home last night and found a large bright red bloody stool mixed with much mucous on the potty pad. We have two dogs...Marcie and Mo-Jo. I check bottoms and it was Marcie. She hasn't had another one this morning but I am thinking about taking her to the emergency vet today. She has always had problems with her stools...they have been small little ones and she struggles having them....she is also the ornery one and finding things to eat that she shouldn't. She is a little 3 pounder, so I really watch her closely and try to not wait on problems. Normal behavior so far today.
What do you think???
