I bought one and returned it. I got one that goes between the seats. I am not sure what type of car you have , but I like my girls sitting up high on the console. They get to see everything and then they can ride with us when my dh is in the car and not take up the other front seat.

below about 3 yrs ago and have really gotten my money's worth. Just make sure it has a clip to clip to the harness. It runs about $50 but was so worth it. Mine is big enough to put both dogs in it of course i had to add a harness clip
