| Scratching at the door STILL driving me nuts! I may have posted about this before, but it's still going on and it's not getting any better.
We have a regular potty schedule for taking Roxie out. In between, she scratches at the front door when she has to go out (We think her previous owner must have taught her that). Except now, she just scratches at the door ALL THE TIME...even if we've just taken her out to potty a few minutes before. She especially loves to scratch when we sit down on the couch to watch TV, or sit at the table to eat.
We wind up taking her out just to be safe, and more often than not she will lay in the grass or just sniff around. She doesn't actually potty.
What is going on here? Is she bored? She can't possibly have to go potty all these times, can she? How can I get her to stop scratching at the door? We've tried distracting her, offering toys and play, putting a gate in front of the door, and NO STAY spray...no luck so far.
