I would highly suggest changing the food.

Many dogs (including my Duke) are allergic to corn and the i/d contains corn. If he happens to get a hold of something that contains corn (normally human food) he will go after his paws and legs.

Do you have a pet supply store or dog boutique in your area that sells dog food? If so, I would go there and ask to talk to someone that is knowledgeable about dog food allergies.
