I have mixed feelings about the docking and sort of wish it was removed from our standards. Although I prefer the docked look, I would forgo it if it was not the standard. I feel the same about human male baby circumcism. I think we just do these things and they are really no longer necessary in the day of daily showers for people and easier life for our yorkies. But my husbnd overruled me on the circumcism and I went ahead and docked all of our puppies tails and removed their dew claws. Heard the results of both and I can tell you -- it DOES hurt! |
On the dew claws what exactly is that for? Cause when I purchased my beya she came docked and dew claws were taken out.
