We do NOT make a profit on our animals. Actually, we spend more than we receive on adoptions. But, in return, we are making a difference one animal at a time. Sometimes, we have to pay for their freedom. Very few animals are turned over to rescue without some type of cost. Some animals come to us in desperate need of medical care. We can't always find a forever home that can reimburse us for high vet bills. Rather than turn down a perfect home, we will use money collected from our younger, healthier animals to offset costs.
