Oh, they do suffer. We get caught up wanting to save them. I went through it three times. The last one was just the absolute worst and I doubt I would push it again as far as I did. The end result is always the same.
It is a horrible condition. I have cried today again hearing about little Prince as if it happened to me all over again.
