So, I have resorted to using my hubby's hair gel - L'Oreal Studio Indestructible Gel! It is the only one I have tried that keeps her hair out of her eyes for a whole day. I brush and comb her each morning and redo the fringe area, adding a touch more gel if needed. I wash her once or twice a week depending on how mucky she gets, and the gel seems to come out easily. She has quite a sensitive skin, but has had no reaction to the L'Oreal gel at all. Hope you find this works for you, too.
This might work but be careful with gel b/c a lot of it contains alcohol and if it gets in their eye it can burn them
