I called Carol last night to let her know Nikki and I would be coming Friday. She sounded terrible and was very distressed. I got the feeling from what she was saying that she was sick and in some sort of isolation. I emailed her daughter and told her I was concerned about Carol and was she sick and in isolation? Her daughter said that Carol had C-Diff, a very bad intestinal bacterial infection and was in isolation. They told her she could visit but would have to wear a mask and gown. She is going to let me know when Carol is no longer contagious. I feel so bad knowing how she looks forward to seeing Nikki. It is very contagious and I can't risk exposing my daughter who is on immune lowering meds for her arthritis or Nikki. I would appreciate your good thoughts and prayers for Carol to recover from this. Thanks
