Britster you make a good point. My goal is to try and give my puppies the healthiest life I can possibly provide with in my own control. I would feel awful feeding my dogs "bad" dog food.
All of the information on the Dog Food Project is good but these two links address your question. This site deals more with individual ingredients and label wording rather than evaluation of actual brands. Someone on another board actually had a dog food where the #1 ingredient was listed as Maize instead of corn!

There will also be many conflicts about single ingredients (like the current controversy regarding Canola oil) where people are on both sides of the fence. You will just have to make a personal decision on those.
