Oh I've been on several cruises and even after visiting Europe I still say a cruise is the best vacation! It's completely reasonable in price. However, I've only been on Carnival cruise line, and while very enjoyable and inexpensive it may be more of a no frills cruise compared to other cruise lines. Still, with that being said - still the best vacation ever!

Where are you located? What port will you be leaving from?

EDIT: you say Bahamas so I guess you are starting in the south? You may want to consider a cruise that has additional port of call.
