Hello! I went through the same thing with my Layla. When you have time you may want to read my thread about her called "Worried about Layla" in this same forum.
First of all, do you have a crate? If not, please put Coco in as small an area as possible so she is not walking or moving. It is very important with a back injury to keep her still so the back has a chance to heal. The more she moves, the more she will aggravate her back. If she may have a bulging disc, it is recommended that she has 8 weeks of strict crate rest. Some vets may say differently but I believe it's best to be cautious anyway! She can't hurt herself by resting, right?
As you can see in my avatar, Layla is now paralyzed. She went from slow hunched walking, to losing use of her legs in a matter of hours. It is very important to keep her still! I've learned a lot since going through the ordeal and I just want to pass on what I know now.
Good luck to you and Coco! Stay strong for your little girl!
