My 5 years old Yorkie recently started yelping when we touch her and she is walking very hunched and slow. I took her to the vet and he said she had inflammation in her back so he put her on Metacam. It seemed to work at first but then she started acting the same way as before so then he put her on a steroid and once again for the first few days she seemed better but now after day 9 she seems to be back in pain and has a lost interest in toys and is crying again and has a weird croaky bark as well as some shaking. Please help if you can. Like many of you she is my child and it breaks my heart that she is in so much pain. Thanks so much!
