My Oliver is about 95% potty trained now. He only has the occasional accident if I am little late coming home from work... it's like he knows when it's 5 o'clock and if I'm ten minutes late....
Anyway, when I let him outside to potty, he will go in the grass... but only if he has to potty...
If he has to poop.... he will only do it on the deck or the carport... I understand when it is raining why he goes on the carport... it's covered, he doesn't have to get wet... but even when we go on walks, he poops on the street or sidewalk, never in the grass!!!
We are still very close with his parents and siblings, and none of them do this... so I don't think it is a learned behavior...
Has anyone else ever had a dog do this??
