Breeding Brandi Need to set the record straight re Brandi. Mistake - in the last two years she was bred 3 times (not 5) and no puppies. Also, yes she had been checked out by vet prior to each breeding. Last time the vet suggested that I breed from the time she accepts male till she does not accept male anymore. Then I am to bring Brandi to vet to have a progestrone level test. If the test is high (near 10), then she is most likely pregnant. If the level is low, she is not pregnant. Brandi is 4.14 now. But like you all suggested, I will not try to breed her again. She is a joy to us and we are most thankful that we purchased her. |
