First assure them that the person is okay. Then a firm "NO" and remove from everyone. I had one that acted up with strangers and barked inappropriately. I would say "NO" in a very stern voice and then put them out on the patio or in another room. I would let them back in with us after 10 min or so but right back if they continued the behavior. He still will start to bark at strangers, which is not a bad thing. I first reassure that it is okay and then give a "NO" if needed. I don't have to go any further now.
