on expecting! I agree, takes lots of time for them to get used to all the new sounds and smells. Making sure they know they are still special I think is also so important. It was a rough pregnancy and he was my "right hand man" throughout the whole 9 months of illness. But he honestly never forgave me for having that baby! And that was 8 months ago. He is now my husband's dog and totally happy and content but it really was hard for me to let him decide when we brought Tay home.
