Default Shallow dishes

Maybe. We have a girl who exhibited that "pull it out & eat it off the floor" behavior, or she wouldn't eat, which made us a little nervous....my wife hand-fed her some kibbles and she ate a handful, so we knew she was hungry. Her sister never acted like this.

We suspected that she just didn't like sticking her face "into" a bowl. So we got her the most shallow food & water dishes we could find. Problem solved.

Maybe it is instinct, to be able to see what is going on at all times, even while eating....maybe she was afraid her sister was going to take her food away from her !!! No telling, but the shallow dishes worked for us.
