Nancy, most of the time I want to smack Betty. Her frustrations and reasons for leaving Don are understandable, but I find it difficult to name one positive thing about her. The closest I have come is that she has (had?) high standards, but those standards were for show and social standing and less about love for her family. |
Ha ha, your post cracked me up. He's younger than me, but he reminds me so much of men my dad's age. I mean he just seems older than me.
When Betty slapped her daughter I was so upset, she doesn't even seem to love her daughter, it's like her father was the only person she was really close to. She was his little princess. She does seem so empty, and thinks a man can bring her happiness.
