if your dog is sensitive to chicken or rice; you can use turkey breast or ground turkey (99% fat free) and oatmeal. that's why i fed my dog for months because she couldn't tolerate any dog food due to her ibd.
i boiled the meat and cooked the oatmeal in the turkey broth. boil on very low heat to keep the nutrients. i got the recipe from Dr. Pitcairn's New Complete Guide to Natural Health for Dogs and Cats
