Update:
I might have found Buddy the PERFECT home! A friend of mine emailed me and asked me if I had adopted the yorkie that was on Craigslist because the lady told her she had adopted him out to a lady named Michelle. Of course I told her it was me... and she asked me what my plan was with him. I told her I wanted to get him neutered and rehome him... and she said she was interested
I emailed her pictures and she says he's adorable. We are going to meet this afternoon at the park and do a meet and greet. She wants to see how he does with her dogs, and she wants to take him home. She will take him to his neuter appointment that I scheduled, and wants to get his teeth cleaned.
She has had a yorkie before who she rescued and had a collapsed trachea. She eventually had to put her down because she was sufferring from it, and it has been almost two years since. She is a responsible owner and takes them to the vet regularly, gets their teeth cleaned and her dogs are all neutered.
I will be so happy with her as his owner, and will feel like I did the right thing by fostering him. Wish me luck... we are meeting today at 4!
