Have you ever tube feed? I don't suggest it unless you have done it or you go to your vet and have him show you. Alot of people don't like to do it but I find it easier than a dropper and have less problem with aspiration. You can also tube the AD food. If he keeps going down I would go to the vet and give it a try.
