 No foot surgery
The bones were too tiny to pin (they're in the top of her foot. After much discussion, the vet and DH and I decided to let the foot heal the best it can and just have a slightly wonky foot. She can sleep on the bed with us with her collar and leash tethering her to the head of the bed so we don't have to worry about her falling off. This is a great, kind, knowledgeable vet and we know that Latte will be out of pain soon and back to her perky self! |
