He's in a prime chewing age... and will remain so for months. A supply of bully sticks (google them to find good buys) will be a big help. But you might want to lay in a supply of varied "chewies" in case he gets bored with bully sticks. And they won't substitute for attention, but they will help drain energy and that chewing urge.
