You are right, I read that. But I don't think Melanie would rip off the pillow, and she needs it to snugle she is big in snnugling, also her crate is 2 feet away for my bed and I have very light sleep, I actually wake up if she gets up or play with her toys. (I'm not really into sleeping so I don't care).

The new puppy will be away from pillows until I get to know her better and can trust she will not rip it apart.

Also if you think about it, this pillow risk is everywhere, since a dog could do that with your decorative pillows in the living room when you are not home, right?
