I wish that were true..But it isn't. They can pick them up anywhere at any age. We do not have a flea problem but my dogs sure get mites a lot. SO I use a spot on treatment that kills them better and faster then drops.

There is Revolution and another one called Advocate in the UK, I use advocate and order it from AU.. In America it is called Advantage Multi and can only be gotten with a prescription..
