I tried to put stairs and pillows on the floor but nothing worked, he avoided the pillows, refused the stairs and always jumped off the back of the couch. I had to give up and pray constantly that he didn't hurt himself or worse. So far so good (knocks on wood!). Luckily he is a bigger boy (13lbs now) so he's a lot less fragile than my 6lber who DOES NOT jump like that thankfully!
Eeeek! Sounds just like my little Muffin! She used to scare me constantly. I was always scared she would break her neck, but she never did!
