uugghhh mine do things like this and scare the crap out of me!! No matter what I try with my Fletcher he is determined to jump from all heights! I tried to teach him a million times to not jump off the back of the couch, I would teach him how to come down to the front and then jump down but he would not do that. I tried to put stairs and pillows on the floor but nothing worked, he avoided the pillows, refused the stairs and always jumped off the back of the couch. I had to give up and pray constantly that he didn't hurt himself or worse. So far so good (knocks on wood!). Luckily he is a bigger boy (13lbs now) so he's a lot less fragile than my 6lber who DOES NOT jump like that thankfully!
