Yea, I felt bad bringing up this issue w/ her because I thought it would make me sound like I cared more about the price than the puppy but I guess it is a legitimate concern regarding the circumstances.

How old & big is he? It's hard because he can be registered, but not with the most reputable registry, so it makes you wonder about the breeder and without having any information on the breeder, I don't know.
I would certainly want to be able to take him to the vet and have him checked out, though any health issues may take quite awhile to show up.
Maybe you could ask her for more info on the breeder, kennel name, phone number. Anything that will give you more info in order to search.
Good luck with your decision!
He's 13 weeks and around 3 lbs. She got him at 10 weeks. I felt a little nervous about asking tough questions because I didn't want her to feel like I was interrogating or doubting her, but I think I will start being more honest about my concerns since they are important. If she really cares about finding him a good home, I'm sure she will understand. I just wish I had read the sticky about what to ask before visiting her.

As usual, thanks for all the advice!
