I've never given Beamer or Lil Bit canned carrots. But I give them one of those baby carrots as a treat.
In fact as soon as I have finished grooming Beamer he goes to the refrigerator and scratches at the door for me to get him a carrot - and when I open the door he scratches at the veggie drawer, it is almost as if he just can't wait for me to open it to get him a carrot.
