Certain breeds do have a harsh reputation, but I firmly believe that there aren't bad dogs out there, just uninformed owners (or owners that don't have the same energy level or time for the dog, etc.). Don't worry about owning a Chow; they are lovely and loyal dogs. Since Roxy is being introduced to her at a young age, they should do fine. I would feed them separately like what was mentioned above, and also make sure to walk CC daily to exert her energy and for socialization. Congrats on your new addition!!! I can't wait to see pictures! Oh, and before I forget, I would practice brushing CC daily from the start. My friend in GA has a Chow who never was in a routine of being brushed, and now her Chow can not stand to be groomed or brushed. All she is able to do at this point is cut out the tangles. (:
