It could well be that Poppy doesn't yet feel secure enough to poop outside. A dog is in a more 'vulnerable' position when pooping. I've had some pups that will pee just fine on the paper in the house but go find an out of the way spot to poop in. They outgrow this as they get more comfortable with their surroundings. Not strange at all....makes perfect sense from their point of view. |
