 House breaking
I have a 14 week old yorkie and am having problems with his training to use indoor puppy potty patch. He will sometimes use the patch to urinate but he refuses to poop on it. we caught him several times pooping somewhere else and takes him straight to the potty patch and he still doesnt seem to get it. We use the crate system when we are not home but since my boyfriend works at home hes here all the time so I don't see the need to have him crated when we or one of us is home. our other dog was trained this same way and we have no problems with him at all. our yorkie sleeps with me in the bed during the day sue to me working third shift and instead of whining to get down to use the bath room as of today he went on the bed! I tried crateing him when I was in bed asleep but he whined and barked for 4 hours !!! and I got no sleep on several occations. I know that he will eventually get used to the crate like my other dogs did but holy cow, This yorkie is stubborn!! please any advice would be a great help!! |
