It's my understanding that Susan Morgan (TopNotchPups) has her own breeding program now. She does get a few Yorkies from her friend, but it's my understanding that she is not brokering, but rather using her own breeding program now. And, I believe she is strictly breeding Yorkies. My Tia is from Susan, but we got her as a rescue from someone who bought her from Susan, then got rid of her. I have to say in Susan's favore that she was very very helpful with info on Tia and she didn't have to be. My Brooklyn was bred by a woman out of Georgia (Susan's friend) and I picked Brooklyn up at Susan's home. No money was made by Susan on that sale by Susan. Since, I was at her place/home I can only say nice things about her as I saw first hand how the pups were kept. The parents themselves are in private homes with families. It's a unique breeding program she has. She places the pups with families and the when they reach breeding age she breeds them to one of her males. The pups are then sold. The female is bred three times then spayed and stays with the family as their own. I'm not a big fan of breeding. I'll always advocate rescue first, Brooklyn was our first we bought, my other five are rescues, however, I did think it was a cool unique way of breeding. The mom is always with the family so even after she retires (After three breedings) she is not rehomed. She's been with her family from birth and stays with them. Again, I do not agree with brokering etc, but did have to at least come on and say that I have been friendly with Susan for about four years now, and she's come a long way. She's also taken quite a few rescues in herself and rehomed them. I may take flack for this post, but I'm just trying to clear up what is and what was. Elaine
