Since you mentioned your brothers "cat", could Poppy have eaten cat poo?
Her tummy and intestines need to "rest", so just keep water down and don't worry about her eating for a couple of days. If that had been one of my girls, I'd given her a bath the minute I saw her in that condition and then taken all food away and given only water the first day at least. But anyway, I'm glad to hear see is acting better. If she vomits or has any diarrhea, take her to the Vet. ASAP. These babies can expire quickly.
