I know what you all mean, we just give him kisses and he rolls over so we can tickle his tummy, if he's in his bed down stairs though I try to 'let sleeping dogs lie' as the saying goes then he knows he has a place quiet and uninterrupted sleep, if he isn't inerested in pats etc he just moves away from us
