I know how upset and scared you are right now. Two years ago I thought my 13 year old Chipper was having routine surgery for bladder stones. The vet removed the stones but noticed an unusual thickening of the bladder wall. The vet did a biopsy and it was found that Chipper had inoperable bladder cancer. I was told that I would only have Chipper for about 6 more weeks and I was devistated. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Zoe.
