Good point ^ Yorkies are no longer ratters...doesn't mean they can't or won't (and most WILL), but today they're companions... they're still terrier and posess ratting instincts but aren't bred to serve specifically that purpose.

I don't see breeders advertising great ratters for sale LOL but rather great companions.
But hopefully we continue to uphold/protect the standard and never loose some of the wonderful characteristics of the Yorkshire Terrier.
