Each state has their own rabies law. You will have to abide by the laws of your state. Most don't require a rabies vaccine vaccine before 4 months, but there are a few that require it at three months, I believe.

Thank you so much! I will start researching ASAP. I didn't think they would force you to get them early (as it could hurt the pup), but I wasn't sure. I'll make sure that is the case in this situation.
