After Gus has his little fits, does he not eat for a while. I ask because my vet explained to me, that Teegy's counts were off for liver shunt when the blood work was done pre-neutering.
He told me the reason was because he hadn't eaten in 24 hours as per the vet's instructions and this would go back to normal.
I was just wondering if you ended up with that result due to a long period without food.
It's like us, Ketones appear in a urine test for humans when we starve prior to annual medicals.
