I agree with reading the material that the others have supplied you with - it's always helpful to learn more - beforehand.

However, I do want to add that you'd be lucky to get a pup from Cynthia Landry. She's a well respected YTCA member and has been breeding/showing Yorkies & Maltese for years. She's really hard to get in touch with because she is so active. She does a lot of breeding with the Images Kennel.

I do want to note that I don't know either of these ladies, nor do I have a dog from them - this is only my opinion from my own research.
