Please carefully select a breeder. Yorkies are expensive and sick ones are even more expensive. I foolishly bought my first dog from a petstore and got the second one for free after they screwed up my "paperwork" and I threw a fit. Both these babies came from puppy mills in the midwest. I shudder to think of the first 8 weeks of their lives before they came home to me.
I went with a YTCA breeder for Teddy - a world of difference.
My puppymill dog Daisy has cost me tens of thousands of dollars in veterinary care over the years.
